Free NAPLAN practice with no signup
Skillo provides free NAPLAN practice for Year 3, 5, 7, and 9 Australian students with no signup required. No account creation, no email verification, no parent registration. Open Skillo and start practising in 10 seconds.
Why no signup?
Skillo is built on the principle that children should be able to learn online without creating a digital identity first. Requiring signup adds friction, collects personal data before a student has tried the product, and creates a privacy risk. It also typically marks the start of a marketing funnel. On Skillo, your child can open a practice page and start on the first question within 10 seconds — no form, no gate, no email.
How do I start practising?
Go to any Skillo practice page — for example, Year 5 NAPLAN Numeracy practice or Year 7 NAPLAN Reading practice — and questions appear immediately. Choose a practice mode and the first question loads within seconds. There is no login screen, no ‘create account’ prompt, and no email verification step before practising. The exam picker on the Skillo home page leads directly to practice with no intermediate step.
Does my child need to log in to save progress?
Not to practise. All practice sessions work without an account and without saving anything. Creating an optional Skillo account lets your child save progress, track accuracy over time, and earn practice badges. An account uses a generated alias — for example, ‘Thunder Kangaroo’ — and never requires a real name, email address, or date of birth. Accounts are optional and can be created any time.
What if my child uses a school device?
Skillo works on any device — school laptop, tablet, Chromebook, or personal phone — through a browser. No app installation is required. No school login credentials are needed. If your child’s school has content-filtering at the network level, Skillo may need to be whitelisted by the school’s IT team. There is no login barrier from Skillo’s side, and Skillo does not integrate with school identity systems.

Will my child lose progress if they close the browser?
Without an account, practice progress is not saved — closing the browser ends the session. Creating a free optional account (no email required) lets your child save their score history and track improvement over time.
Can my child sign up if they want to?
Yes. A free optional account is available. It uses a generated alias and a year level only — no real name, no email, no date of birth. Progress, XP, and practice history are saved to the account.
Do parents need a separate account?
No. Skillo does not have a parent account system. Parents can sit with their child and observe practice sessions directly. A parent dashboard is planned for a future update.
What if a school wants to use Skillo with classes?
Skillo’s individual practice pages are available to any student without an account. Schools interested in classroom features — such as assignment setting and class-level progress tracking — can enquire at [email protected].
